MANICA Offices
Kansas City, MO
MANICA recently acquired a pre-World War II historic warehouse building and is proud to be part of the redevelopment taking place in the Kansas City "Start-Up Village" near the Google Fiber Space building.  The 8,400 square foot building was used for 40 years as a private warehouse space and required considerable demolition and clean-up prior to renovations.  The renovated main design studio offers 5,000 square feet of open space set off with a wood barrel-vault ceiling and steel bow-string trusses.  The addition of 10 skylights and new window systems will fill the space with natural daylight.  The building includes three additional studio spaces for the company's future expansion and supporting functions such as IT, private conferences, and fitness.  The development also includes dedicated employee parking and a private outdoor garden with a firepit, lounge area, outdoor kitchen, and fish pond.

Centric Projects of Kansas City is the general contractor, and MANICA expects to move into the finished offices by fall 2014.
